The Sixteen joins forces with celebrated musicians Lizzie Ball (violin) and James Pearson (piano) for five striking new arrangements of works by Peter Warlock, James MacMillan and Oscar Peterson. 

This exclusive digital EP features five tracks recorded at London’s World Heart Beat Studios including Bethlehem Down (commissioned by Apple Music Classical for its 2023 ‘Christmas Carols Covered’ playlist).

The EP also includes arrangements of James MacMillan’s Scots Song and Oscar Peterson’s Hymn to Freedom (written with the blessing of Oscar’s wife, Kelly Peterson) which is preceded by Introit-Somnium—a new work by James Pearson.
